Faith Formation Groups

After our Sunday morning service, from 11-11:45am, we offer a variety of Faith Formation Groups. These provide age and stage appropriate spaces for exploration and relationship building. For adults, these groups are sometimes discussion based and sometimes more creative. For the kids, there's space for play, storytelling, and creative response. We would love for you to join us!

 

​Below is an overview of each Faith Formation group available this fall.

• Introduction to Purpose in the Third Third

  • Purpose in life is a crucial element of flourishing in the third third of life. In 5 sessions, this course based on Scripture and enriched by science, will help you receive, Clarify, Craft and Live your purpose in the third third of life. This course is designed for those of us in the Third Third (retired) of life, but it could also be very appropriate for those nearing the Third Third or retirement.

• Pulpit to Pavement

  • This group is a space to discuss in more depth the sermon and scripture passage from the morning service. Guiding questions are provided to encourage conversation and engagement. This course is open to 7th graders to adult.​

• God's Stories as Told by God's Children

  • This group is for kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade, where they will begin together to hear a lively telling of the Bible story and then divide into small groups (K-3rd, 4th-6th) for further exploration of the story.​
