Sunday Mornings
Whether you’ve never been to church or you’ve gone your whole life, visiting a new place can feel uncertain. At Second Reformed, we want you to feel at home from the moment you walk through the doors.

Our Sunday mornings are centered around worshiping God together—through music, Scripture, prayer, and community. You’ll find a thoughtful rhythm to our service, friendly faces to greet you, and space to encounter God’s grace at your own pace.

Come as you are. Bring your questions. There's a place for you here.

Service Time
Worship begins at 9:45 a.m. and usually lasts about an hour. Feel free to come a few minutes early to find a seat, get comfortable, and say hello.
You're also welcome to grab a cup of coffee in the Gathering Space before or after the service—we’d love to meet you!

Location & Parking
We’re located at 612 Broadway in Pella. You’ll find parking in the lot next to the church and the Pella Public Library, as well as along the streets surrounding the building. Accessible parking and entrances are available. Look for our friendly greeters at the door—they’ll be happy to welcome you and help you find your way.

What Should I Wear?
There’s no dress code. You’ll see everything from jeans to dress clothes—come in what feels comfortable to you.

What About Kids?
Children are always welcome and valued in worship! We offer a clean, well-staffed nursery for infants and toddlers. Partway through the service, kids are invited up front for a short “Children’s Time.” Afterwards, children ages 3 through first grade may go to Children and Worship, a special, age-appropriate worship experience.
We also love the sounds and wiggles of kids in the sanctuary—don’t worry if your little one is active!

Music & Worship Style
Worship at Second Reformed follows a familiar but meaningful rhythm, focused on God’s grace through Jesus Christ. We pray, read Scripture, sing hymns, and enjoy music together—often led by our beautiful pipe organ, and occasionally by handbells, a guitar, or other instruments. Sometimes we turn, stand, or sing songs that are new to some and beloved by others. Our bulletin guides you through it all.

After the Service
We’d love to meet you! Stick around after worship for coffee and conversation in our gathering space. It’s a relaxed chance to connect and get to know our church community.
