Worship
Worship is a transforming encounter with God that touches the whole person -body and soul, heart and mind. Worship is our response of thanksgiving and praise to the love and grace of God in Jesus Christ. In worship, we offer to God what God most deserves-our adoration and praise, our time and attention, our gifts and our very selves. We invite you to join us in worship every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m.!
- Our worship is enhanced by the beauty of music, dance, and choirs.
- We celebrate the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month.
- Our nursery is clean, friendly, and well staffed-always available for young children.
- Children three years old to first grade are invited to “Children and Worship” downstairs in Fellowship Hall.
Choirs help the congregation make a joyful noise to the Lord! Our adult choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at seven and sings every Sunday in worship. Our LOGOS choir is made up of children from 2nd to 6th grade and rehearses during the LOGOS program on Wednesday afternoons. For more information about the choirs, contact Kris DeWild.
Bells are another way that the congregation makes joyful music together. There are three bell choirs; Genesis Players (beginners), New Testament Bells (intermediate), and Second Story Bells (advanced). They rehearse on Sunday evenings and play at various times during the year. For more information about the Bells, contact Tina DeYoung.
God’s Dancers is a liturgical dance troupe for young girls beginning at 3rd grade. Their dance enhances our worship several times a year. For more information about God’s Dancers, contact Sally Baar.
